On 8-19^th  May  of  this year, at the Palace of Festivals and Congresses along the famous French quay of Cruzett, the pavilion of our country will be created for the first time by the Union of Youth of Uzbekistan, the Cinematography Development Center, the National Agency "Uzbekkino" and the Council of Young Film Publishers.

On  the  3^rd  of  May  of  this  year,  the  Center  for  the  Development  of  Cinematography  held  a  press  conference  on  the  creation  of  the  pavilion  "Uzbekistan"   in  the  71-th  International  Film  Festival  Cannes.  The   director  of  the  Center  for  the  Development  of  Cinematography,  the   Chairman  of  the  Council  of  Young  Film  Publishers  Oybek  Abdushukurov,  the  Head  of  the  National  Agency  "Uzbekkino"  Furkat  Zokirov,  the  Head  of  the  Republican  Cinematographic  Center  -  Marufjon  Muхtorov,  young  filmmakers  and  the   representatives  of  the  media  participated  in  the  press  conference.

The  press  conference  discussed  the  ongoing  reforms  in  our  country,  the  importance  of  Uzbekistan's  participation  in  the  International  Film  Festival  and  the  expected  achievements  in  the  future.  In  addition,  the participants  in  the  pavilion  told  that  they  need  to  give  guests  from  foreign  countries  a  broad  information  about  the  films  of  Uzbek  filmmakers,  about  the  rich  cinematography  of  our  country  and  to  acquaint  them  with  the  cultural  and  spiritual  values  ​​of  our  people.

- Tomorrow  the  Uzbek  delegation  from  the  young  filmmakers  leave  for  France  to  participate  in  the  International  Film  Festival  Cannes.  This  festival  by  its  fame  is  in  the  first  place  all  over  the  world.  In  its  framework  there  will be  created and a  film  market.  In  the  film  market  each  country organizes  its  own  pavilion  and  presents  in  it  its  capabilities  and  potential  in  filmography.  In  today's  press  conference,  we  will  tell  representatives  of  our  media  about  the  film  market,  about  the  work  done  to  spread  around  the  world  the  landmarks  and  modern  cities  of  Uzbekistan,  the  landscape  and  rich  nature  of  our  country.  This  way  we  can  achieve  the  attraction  of  investments  to  Uzbekistan.  The  more  countries  learn  about  Uzbekistan,  the  wider  are  the  ties  of  cooperation  for  the  withdrawal  of  joint  films   in  our  homeland.  And  this  will  open  the  way  for  creating  additional  jobs,  attracting  large  investments  in  our  country,  -  said  the  Chairman  of  the  Council  of  Young  Film  DPublishers  Oybek  Abdushukurov.

         Press  Secretary  of  the  Center  for  the  Development  of  Cinematography  Mahfuza  Ortikova  reported  about  the  presentation  of  the  “PROlogue”  film  festival  in  October  of  this  year,  which  received  the  status  of  an  international,  Uzbek  film commission,  recently  established  in  our  republic,  and  the  Film  Distribution  Center.  In  this  regard,  the  Center  for  the  Development  of  Cinematography  signed  a  contract  with  the  directorate  of  the  Cannes  Film  Market,  the  world's  first  film  festival  of  the  same  name.  The  annual  film  market  is  considered  to  be  the  main  business  and  cultural  event  in  the  film  industry  of  the  world.  In  addition,  it  is  planned  to  hold  talks  with  many  wщorld-famous  film  companies  and  producers  in  the  world.

- Another  one  of  our  main  presentations  is   presenting  about  the  structure  of  the  Uzbek  Film  Commission.  This  film  commission  is  engaged  in  the  filming  of  foreign  films  on  the  territory  of  Uzbekistan,  -  said  the  head  of  the  National  Agency  "Uzbekkino"  -  Furkat  Zokirov

The  construction  of  the  pavilion  of  our  country  in  the  71st  International  Cannes  Festival  will  serve  to  enhance  our  country's  image  in  the  world  arena,  to  discover  the  talents  of  our  young  gifted  filmmakers  in  the  near  future,  to  attract  the  attention  of  the  world  community  to  the  Uzbek  cinematography,  and  to  ensure  the  participation  of  many  foreign  specialists  and  filmmakers  on  film  festival  "PROlogue  -  2018"  and  to  increase  the  tourist  potential  of  our  country.
