The Uzbek delegation is continuing to reach new agreements within the Cannes Film Festival.

The Cannes International Festival united cinematographers and filmmakers from all over the world. In this most intriguing time of the festival, The Uzbek delegation signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Russian company "Renovatsio".

According to the Memorandum, in 2018, Russian and Uzbek filmmakers will start shooting the film "Khoja Nasriddin" in Uzbekistan.

As the producer of the movie company "Renovatsio" – Georgiy Malkov said, Russian filmmakers invited a famous actor Jan Reno to play the role. Uzbek experts in the project "Khoja Nasriddin" represent about half of the creative and technical team.

Starting the project will help Uzbek specialists to exchange experiences and attract foreign investment to our country.
