Leader of youth have met with the representatives of the Council of Great Britain representation in Uzbekistan.

  Today, the leader of the youth welcomed representatives of the British Council in Uzbekistan at the Central Council of Uzbekistan youth union.

At the cooperative meeting, Mark Cross-  head of the British Council in Uzbekistan, Jamila Gulyamova- deputy chairman, Gulnoz Najmiddinova- manager of exams department, Emine Sheykhametova- manager of business development, Qahramon Quronboyev- chairman of Uzbekistan youth union, Kamoliddin Beknazarov and Dilnoza Kattaxanova – deputies chairman of Uzbekistan youth union, Ekaterina Gorbunova- head of the international affairs and tourism development department took part.

In the initial conversation, State Counselor provided information on the establishment of Uzbekistan Youth Union, its activities in terms of youth affairs, privileges and opportunities created for supporting the youth. According to it, today Youth Organization has united 12 million young people. The Alliance has established 33 sub-organizations under the Union. Also, during a year, nearly 33,000 unorganized youth were employed. 1276 young people have been assisted in obtaining preferential credits for young entrepreneurs. As a result, 1076 vacancies were created.

Furthermore, UK Representative Mark Crusel expressed his acknowledgement with the visit and expressed his wishes at the beginning of the first Youth Congress. At the meeting, the issues in terms of uniting young people, employment, student relationships, supporting the youth, development in entrepreneurship were discussed. With the aim of developing international relations, building a friendly community of nations, protecting the benefits of young people, cooperation in the field of education, signing a memorandum with the British Council, and organizing a summer media camp for youth and other suggestions were given.

 Mark Cross, head of the British Council in Uzbekistan, shared his impressions about the prospects of the international cooperative meeting:

 Within the framework of projects for the support of youth in the UK, we have been advocating and promoting environmental education with students in Uzbekistan. It has been 22 years since our function in Uzbekistan. In recent years, our programs have been enriched with news. At the same time, the projects have increased. From our today's visit, it is aimed to have a long-term cooperation with Uzbekistan.
