In order to implement the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan on April 16, 2018, the Youth Union declared May as the Month of ʺRemembrance and Honorʺ.

On May 2 of this year, The Central Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan and the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Uzbekistan established concerts across the city of Tashkent with the military orchestra artists wearing military uniforms of the soldiers of the Second World War.

This promotion event is organized under the slogan "Brevity, Duty and Devotion".

The Youth Symphonic Orchestra of Uzbekistan and the Orchestra of Musical Instruments which is composed of the students of the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan participated in the event and played the songs of the war era.

Moreover, the meeting with the youth volunteers was held and promotional materials were provided to them. And the group of youth volunteers distributed these materials along the defined road map. Through this, the spirit of solidarity and national harmony were widely presented.

The concert program started from the petrol station ʺMustangʺ in Dombirabad Avenue and continued in the square in front of Shota Rustaveli statue on Usmon Nosir Street, in the square in front of the State Museum of Temurids, in the square in front of the Central Council of the Youth Union of Uzbekistan and in the square in front of bus stations of Yunusabad market.
