In the last decade, the whole world suffers from the severe consequences of terrorism and religious extremism. The most terrible thing is that most of people who fall into the mainstream are youths.

With the aim of preventing and countering the provision of youth in the hands of malicious persons in the online space and the virtual world, the OSCE Project Coordinator offered a contest on "Youth of Central Asia against violent extremism and radicalization leading to terrorism" among the youth of Central Asia.

Under the terms of this contest, young people living in the territory of Central Asia need to share with examples of life experiences about this topic in social networks and in their blogs.

The competition continues until June 1 of this year. The purpose of this competition is to strengthen the link between political and practical activities, support for the OSCE "United in Combating Violent Extremism" (#UnitedCVE) leading to terrorism.

The winners of the contest will have the opportunity to participate in the international conference on "The Role of Youth in Preventing and Combating Violent Extremism and Radicalization Leading to Terrorism", which will be held on June 12-13 in Tashkent and Samarkand.
